Life Plus is a ministry for the college-to-career transition that is unique to Hill Grove. It was developed based on several realities. Very often, when students are in college, they stray from their early church roots. Sometimes they come back on their own, but many times they need a path back. Life Plus is such a path – it connects the future leaders of our community to a church experience that is practical and will hopefully be memorable.
In addition, Life Plus speaks to the concept of living life to the full. As Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.” John 10:10
Life was never meant to be drudgery. It was meant to be lived fueled by the love of Christ, in light of the hope a relationship with Him offers, and with service to others as a call for all. These qualities are not intended to be confined to church, but to be a part of the whole life – in work, in family, in friendship and in everything else.
So if you know a young person making a transition to career life, please let him or her know about the Life Plus Student Orientation on the 17th. And if you are already a career professional and want to be a part of this ministry yourself, please join us for the Life Plus Mentor Orientation on the 13th!
