Hill Grove is a church with a youthful, vibrant heartbeat within a traditional, historic stone cathedral. You’ll find all types of people here – young families and empty nesters, college students and professional singles, and children from newborn to high school.
The theme of our ministry is “Learning, Living and Loving in Christ,” and we look for creative, bold ways to create the paths for our members to reach these ends. For example, one of our most unique programs is called Life Plus, a mentorship program where local university students connect with someone already experienced in their field or discipline – primarily members of Hill Grove or other local churches. The program introduces the light of Christ to students while also offering practical and professional information, education, and career networking. In this way, we hope to help provide a foundation for meaningful lives and meaningful work, which will also include meaningful personal ministry.While the exterior of Hill Grove looks similar to how it looked a hundred years ago, our interior is a blend of modern and relevant finishes and color with ornate and traditional architectural details that make it unique and beautiful. This contrast appeals to many of the college students in the Life Plus program.
